Well i have just returned from my first (and hopefully only) traffic school experience. This is about how it went. First of all let me note that I don't think I deserved my ticket in the first place...I was going 47 on center street in orem. I thought the speed limit was 45, apparently its 35. LAME. So, I walk into the Orem Public Safety Department and I sit down in a silent room full of my fellow violators. Feeling like a kid in detention I looked around wondering, "what did you do?" Officer Denny Got us started and it wasn't long before the identities of my fellow classmates were made clear. On the front sat Nancy Know-it-all. She proceeded to raise her hand at every question, ask needlessly pointless questions, and answer other classmates questions before Officer Denny had a chance to. You know the type. She proceeded to express her perfection through all of her talking and at one point I wanted to interrupt her and remind her perfectness that she was sitting in the same spot as the rest of us...ticketed for breaking the rules. To my right sat Deffensive David, who I think was a little confused about his whereabouts. He was under the impression that he was in court and should be fighting his citation with officer Denny at every possible chance. That didn't get annoying at all... Back to my left we had Storytelling Steve who felt it necessary to add his own life experiences (of which there were many) to every point Officer Denny Made. If this wasn't enough we had Nodding Nedra in front of my who couldn't agree more with everything that was being said. The class itself wasn't too bad aside from my fellow classmates. We ended talking about DUI's and all I could think of was my favorite youtube video...i'm sure you'll enjoy it.

When I got a ticket in Lehi I was able to do my traffic school online. It sounds like I really missed out on a lot of good times by doing it that way :)
Yeah...like I am not going to find you...
haha. good story. i have been in that classroom with those kinds of students far too many times...i'm going to try to go ticket free in 2009.
Ha ha ha... Oh man... when in the world did you get a blog and why didn't I know about it sooner? I just laughed through that entire post! I am so glad you have a blog! This will be the best thing in the world, especially when I move away in a few months :( I love you Megs! And I love your funny stories. No more tickets... S L O W D O W N
Megan, I forgot about the ticket! Don't you hate it???? Did you ever do anything about being rear ended?
When I went to traffic school in Az I felt like I was there with a bunch of criminals! It is so annoying!! XOXO Mom
I can feel your pain with traffic school. I heard it is shorter in Utah than here in Arizona so consider yourself lucky. I wanted to rip my hair out at some of the comments that were made in the class I totally hear ya!
