On Saturday morning Benita, Roxy, Amber, and I went up to Draper to go check out the new temple. It was so much fun for the following reasons:
-Saturday Mornings for me usually consist of a whole lotta running. BUT I knew we were going to be busy, so I got my 16 miles in on Friday instead. It felt good to be done early :)
-I got to see Amber Dawn Thomas Griffiths, an adorable past roommate and present friend who is one of the cutest little preggers I've ever seen. (She and her hubby live in Logan, but they were here for the weekend.)
-The Draper temple is absolutely breathtaking. I loved all of the intricate detail that went into the construction. It is very clear that it's such a sacred important place, and nothing was overlooked. The artwork, the upholstery, the moldings...it was beautiful. AND the chandelier in the celestial room was mesmerizing. I want one...
-The bus ride to the temple from the stake center was terrifying, and hilarious at the same time. I was standing by one of the bus doors because it was pretty packed, and I was basically ready to be ejected from the bus at any moment. I didn't have anything to hold on to, so it was a little rough. Roxy and I were thinking up what the Newspaper captions might read had it really happened...we came up with some good ones.
-We went to eat at Paradise Bakery on the way home...it was deeelish!

You are so sweet! I just love you! Thanks for inviting me and spending such an awesome bus ride with me. I was pretty lucky to be the only one sitting down. I would have been on my butt for sure!!
these pictures...the first one looks airbrushed (not in a good way) but in a "It's a Wonderful Life" sort of way.
okay this is the worst picture i have seen in my life of me. are you getting back at me or something? couldn't you have just cut me out? i am glowing and my face looks like a balloon - well five of them. anyway i'm sorry. i'm sorry for what i did to deserve this. but the temple was a good time...
I love temples and getting to see all the amazing detail inside. I went to the Orange County one and it was gorgeous!
I seriously hate that damn bus ride, you would think they would get something better than a school bus. ugh.
BTW your hair looks fantastic as a brunette.
I forgot you were going, to the open house. The temple is so pretty, huh? My kids loved the bus ride, I think it kind of made me car sick.
